The semi-assembly of fire detector sensors has been completely automated with this customized robot line. In total are four components clipped together wheras the main body is laser-labelled with the serial number. Finally the parts are packed and palletized in boxes for the further transportation.

In this application, one robot is tending a turning machine. To achieve high flexibility for different part types, the robot is equipped with a camera in his hand to detect the raw parts in the feed-in box. Additionally, it detects empty boxes and automatically de-stacks them to continue with the next full one.
