Six milling centers are combined to one complete production line - all connected by a TendMATE:XL® system. The raw parts are located in a magazine rack on standardized pallets. Thanks to an external job management system and RFID chips on each pallet, the system is predestined to produce an unlimited range of different part types with small lot size. |

Due to the heavy weight, it took many efforts and time to load and unload the parts manually into the machine. The robot carries heavy payloads with ease and within a fraction of the previous time. Further and most important, it improved the safety of the operators. |

The 30-meter long rail system increases the work area of the robot immensely and allows handling several machines with only one robot. With tight cycle time optimisation, the robot can operate at full capacity. |
